Usage
Instructions
for 4Dperception MusicTuner
4D perception MusicTuner is developed based on our patented
algorithm, which could detect the absolute frequency of a tone and provides
robust detection under noisy environment. You may not recognize that,
so far, all the similar products on the market cannot provide a detection
with relative robust absolute frequency; as a result, their products cannot
distinguish the notes that have octave relations, such as C2, C3, C4,
are reported as a same result C, and even report wrong frequency in an
even weak noisy environment.
In version 3.2, 4D perceptionl MusicTuner covers instruments:
piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, and banjo, with different styles
and transposes, and provides the metronome and timing functions.
If you use this software for first time, you need to set you instrument
and style if the default settings does not match your case. To access
the settings panel, press 'Change' button
in main panel, then you can change instrument, style, and parameter settings.
By pressing the 'UserDef' in 'Custom
Define' group in setting panel, you can define strings for your
own instrument if the instrument is not covered in the setting panel.
If there is any style that is not covered in the setting panel, you can
also press the 'UserDef ' in setting panel
to define your own style.
Please frequently check back with our version update at www.4Dintel.com.

The right steps to use 'auto' for tuning piano strings are:
